It all starts tomorrow.

TOMORROW.  Whether you’re joining us IRL and on-the-ground in Denver or virtually on our remote campaign…it all starts TOMORROW.

We’re so close and we are still getting questions about who, when, where and how.  That’s why we are recapping your frequently asked questions about our action plan for Denver and sharing new info about our remote campaign.

For those who are coming to Denver, this is for you :)

What time are we starting?

We will be gathering on June 5 from 5 am to 8 pm and on June 6, 7, 8 from 8 am to 8 pm. We will all disperse at the end of every day.

The weather outlook in Denver is going to be good this week but be sure to bring your umbrella and light jacket or poncho just in case of the off chance of a shower.

Where are we meeting?

We are meeting on the lawn of the Denver state capitol.  Please familiarize yourself with our map (below and printable).

Will there be bathrooms?

In addition to the public bathrooms noted on the map that generally open at 8:00 am, there will be additional designated bathrooms available nearby for Here4theKids participants on June 5 from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm and June 6, 7, 8 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. There are also nearby businesses with bathrooms that open as early as 5 am. We will have information about bathrooms at the event.

Where can we get more information?

For those joining us in the remote campaign, this is for you :)

What is the remote campaign?

As a reminder, the Here 4 The Kids remote campaign is an accessible way to take direct action for those who are unable or for whom it is unsafe to participate on the ground in Denver on June 5th.

To ensure the safety and accessibility of our marginalized and vulnerable populations, our remote campaign offers a space for anyone who is:

  • Under the age of 18

  • BIPOC - Black, brown, indigenous, people of color

  • LGBTQIA+ - lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual

  • Disabled, chronically ill/immunocompromised, caregiving/caretaking

  • Non-citizens/non-visa holders

  • People experiencing financial insecurity

If you are not a member of one of these communities, we urge you to drive, fly, ride a bus or take the train. By any means necessary, get yourself to Denver!

What is the goal of our remote campaign?

To amplify Here4TheKids actions happening on the ground in Denver and share coverage in the press and other media.

How can we take part?

Follow us on all the below social channels. This is a grassroots national movement with a state-by-state focus. We’re starting in Denver but not stopping until our kids are safe. Keep spreading the word and staying involved!

Also, be sure to join our Mighty Network. If you have joined the remote campaign in our H4TK mighty network, then please make sure you have also joined the Social Media Hub space to stay up to date on the latest happenings across social media.

For more detailed info on how to amplify Here 4 The Kids, check out our new remote campaign social media page.

We cannot thank enough for your patience, your grace and your support as we have taken our co-founders’ dream into a nation-wide reality in - literally - just a few weeks.  You are amazing.  We couldn’t have done this without you.
